CinéGroupe to Produce 13 New Episodes of the Popular Prime Time Comedy Series
Tripping the Rift
Montréal - November 9th, 2006 - World-renowned animation producer, CinéGroupe (What’s With Andy?, Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat, Charlie Jade, GALIDOR™) has begun production on thirteen new episodes of the hit prime-time animated series Tripping the Rift. The sexy and outrageous space satire will now total 39 half-hours.
The third season will be produced in Canada in association with TELETOON who will air the English and French versions, and SPACE: the Imagination Station who will also air the third season in Canada. The smart yet twisted comedy has conquered fans around the world with sales to countries including the United Kingdom (Sky One), France (Sci Fi and NRJ12), Australia (TV1), Portugal (SIC Radical), Italy (Fox International), Latin America (Cartoon Network), the US (Sci Fi), and South Africa (Action-MNET). In addition, the DVDs of the first two seasons have been flying off the shelves in the U.S.
